Meet Boofle.

Meet my new friend ... Boofle. Isn't he cute?

Maak kennis met mijn nieuwe vriendje ... Boofle. Is hij niet om op te vreten zo schattig?

Yesterday I recived my new Do Craft Creativity Magazine. And this time they have send a stamp from Boofle with it. Boofle is a new collection from Papermania and it contains stamps, papers, embossingfolder, buttons, ribbons and so on.

Gisteren viel de nieuwe Do Craft Creativity Magazine op mijn mat. Deze keer zat er als presentje een stempel van Boofle bij. Boofle is de nieuwe collectie van Papermania en bestaat uit stempels, papier, embossingfolders, knoopjes, lint en nog veel meer.

I've stamped him on paper with a knitted patern and coloured with my alcohol markers. I love to colour with alcohol markers on patterned paper. You can still see the pattern after colouring.

Ik heb Boofle op dessingpapier van Marianne Design gestempeld. Komt uit één van de old fashioned nursery papierblokken. Ik meen het blauwe. Hij is gekleurd met alcoholmarkers en het leuke daarvan is dat je het patroon van het desingpapier gewoon blijft zien.

I've cut him out and used dimensionals to stick him on a kraft tag. The tag is embossed with one of the newest embossingfolders from Papermania.

Boofle is uitgeknipt en met 3D op een kraft tag geplakt. De tag heb ik geëmbost met de nieuwste embossingfolder van Papermania.

Friendship

Yesterday, I showed some sneak peaks from somthing I made for my good friend Alida.

Today she recived it and she was verry happy with it. So here is a photo of what I made.

Gisteren vertelde ik over iets speciaals wat ik heb gemaakt voor mijn vriendin Alida.

Vandaag heeft ze het ontvangen, en ze was er erg blij mee, dus hier is een foto van wat ik gemaakt heb.

It is something like an Art journaling. Dont' know how to call it.

Het is iets als een art journaling, weet niet hoe ik het anders moet noemen.

But it is specialy made for Alida to let her know how precious her friendship is for me.

Maar het is dus speciaal gemaakt voor Alida om haar te laten weten hoe dierbaar haar vriendschap voor mij is.

This journaling fits in with the challenge from Stampin sisters in Christ. They wouldt like to see something with wings. And Stampin Royalty ( Go green / recycle) I've used a piece of wraping paper from PIP studio i've kept because the pictures on it are so sweet. 

Dit schilderijtje doet gelijk mee met de uitdaging van Stamping Sisters in Christ. Zij willen graag iets zien met vleugels. En Stampin Royalty ( Go Green / recycle ) Ik heb de plaatjes uit een stuk inpakpapier van PIP studio die ik had bewaard omdat het zo mooi is.

Love this photo. I've made it with the soft focus modus on my camera.

Praising God in difficult time's is not alway's the easiest to do. But reminding yourself of all the mavelous things God has done for us will soothes the pain of our difficulties.

So I made a Thank You tree where in I hang al the thing I'm thankfull for, things like my healt, my family, my friends, having a home. And of course my marriage and children. Because it stands in my livingroom I wil be remind  every day of all the marvelous thing God has done in my live.

Feeling better?

I have a cold and the whole week I'm sniffing and coughing. I'm still sniffing. So I don't feel much better. But this card is not for myself. It's for a friend that suddenly had to go to the hospital for surgery. So I'm happy that I can sit here sniffing and coughing that is so much better than lying in the hospital

I've used a digi from Dustin Pike. I love this dragon he is so sweet. The challenge on the blog from Dustin Pike was to use bling. So i put some glossy accent on the thermometer and added some glitters.

Birthday wishes

Made this card today for the challenge from The Shabby Tearoom. Using navy bleu and natural colours + a distressed item. so I distressed the edges of the patterend paper and the darkbleu paper.

I stamped and coloured with my Derwent colourpencils on Kraft cardstock.

I love the soft look it gives when you colour on Kraft cardstock.

The patterend paper is from a very cheap paperblock. I bougt at a local budgetstore (Action) I love it so much.

Be still

I made this card with the scripture from Word Art Wednesday.

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt met de bijbeltekst van Word Art Wednesday

I kept it simple, sponging the background with bleu and green, stamping the flowers with a darker green. 

Ik heb hem bewust sumpel gehouden, de achtergrond gesponst met blauwe en groene inkt de bloemen gestempeld met een iets donkerdere groene inkt.

I choose the stamp with a flower field because it represent silence for me.

The whole day we are busy with, what am I going to do, how do I do it, what will people think of me, how am I going to pay the bills,  the children must go to school, the laundry must be done, groceries, who lets the the dog out, the house is a mess, and so on. Everything around us runs and flies. And where will we find time to be still before God knowing that he has everything in His hand.

Ik heb deze stempel bewust gekozen omdat het voor mij rust betekend.

De hele dag zijn we bezig met dingen als, wat ga ik doen, hoe ga ik het doen, wat zullen mensen van mij denken, hoe ga ik die rekening betalen, de kinderen moeten naar school, de was moet gedaan worden, de boodschappen, de hond uitlaten, het huis is een rommel, en ga zo maar door. Alles om ons heen rent en vliegt. en waar vinden wij nog tijd om stil te zijn voor God, wetende dat Hij alles in Zijn hand heeft.

It reminds me of something Mother Teresa said,

Het doet me denken aan wat Moeder Teresa ooit zei,

God is the friend of silennce. Trees, flowers, grass grow in silence. See the stars, moon and sun how they move in silence. Mother Teresa

I think it is good to pul us back from al the rushing in our daily lives, sit down and think about  who God is for us and what he does for us.

Ik denk dat het goed is om ons regelmatig terug te trekken van al het gehaast in onze maatschappij en stil te staan bij wie God is voor ons en wat Hij voor ons doet.

Just like the scripture Be still, and know that I am God.

Net als de tekst; Wees stil en weet dat Ik God ben.

Wow, life will be much easier with  God on our side.

Saying hello

Kaartje gemaakt voor de uitdaging van Kleuren met Derwent. De uitdaging is om te kleuren op kraft. Wel dat is bij mij niet voor dovemansoren want dat vind ik superleuk om te doen. Het geeft zo'n mooi soft resultaat.

Het papier dat ik heb gebruikt komt bij de Action vandaan. Normaal loop ik niet echt warm voor de papierblokken van de Action maar ze hadden nu een paar blokken liggen die ik echt niet kon weerstaan en ach voor maar 1,29. Koop is een mooi vel scrappapier bij de Pipoos ofzo dan ben je het ook kwijt en nu heb ik heel veel.

Ik ben zeer tevreden met dit kaartje en dit Action papier kleurt zo giga mooi met kraft.

Frosted flowers

Im so happy with my new Bic markers and new Spectrum Noir markers that I want to colour with them al day, trying new technique's

 So I dicided to make a card with a frosted window

Using the colour from the challenge from Less is More 

And the sketch from Just us Girls.

I love the frosty look of these aqau flowers. And it was realy fun and easy to do.

I almost forgot to show you the inside. 

Because I didn't want a sentiment on the front of my card I placed it on the inside.

So my card  will also play along with the challenge on Luzifi's blog

Made a card for a friend. She has given birth to her first child, a daughter

Using the sketch over at CPS-Card sketches. Day 2 of their 5th anniversary celebration challenge.

Using rosebuds, ribbon and some glossy accents on the roses. They look like waterdrops.
