Trust in Him ..

Nog een kaartje met de sketch van Lift Challenge. Deze keer heb ik de bijbeltekst gebruikt van Word Art Wednesday.

Another card with the sketch from Lift Challenge. This time I've used the Biblescripture from Word Art Wednesday.

I would almost say that this text speaks for itself. But still it was necessary that this text was written down in the Bible. Why? Because (thats what I think) we are to much inclined to argue with our human sense and want to do everything on our own strength.  It's so easy to be able to rely on our own. So easy to pour out our hearts to everyone around. While we have to rely on God, at all times! Pour out our hearts for Him because He is the only shelter for us, Amen.

The scripture is ending with the word Selah. Selah, [celah], is from the primary Hebrew root word [calah] which literally means 'to hang,' and by implication to measure (weigh). Just as the Hebrew word Amen [amen] is an exclamation of confidence or truth and certainty of what has been said, so Selah [celah], is an exclamation that we should measure and reflect upon what has been said. And this is what I would like to give to you today, think about these words from psalm 62: 8 What is the value of this Biblescripture for you personally.
