Love this photo. I've made it with the soft focus modus on my camera.

Praising God in difficult time's is not alway's the easiest to do. But reminding yourself of all the mavelous things God has done for us will soothes the pain of our difficulties.

So I made a Thank You tree where in I hang al the thing I'm thankfull for, things like my healt, my family, my friends, having a home. And of course my marriage and children. Because it stands in my livingroom I wil be remind every day of all the marvelous thing God has done in my live.

I have a cold and the whole week I'm sniffing and coughing. I'm still sniffing. So I don't feel much better. But this card is not for myself. It's for a friend that suddenly had to go to the hospital for surgery. So I'm happy that I can sit here sniffing and coughing that is so much better than lying in the hospital

I've used a digi from Dustin Pike. I love this dragon he is so sweet. The challenge on the blog from Dustin Pike was to use bling. So i put some glossy accent on the thermometer and added some glitters.

Made this card today for the challenge from The Shabby Tearoom. Using navy bleu and natural colours + a distressed item. so I distressed the edges of the patterend paper and the darkbleu paper.

I stamped and coloured with my Derwent colourpencils on Kraft cardstock.

I love the soft look it gives when you colour on Kraft cardstock.

The patterend paper is from a very cheap paperblock. I bougt at a local budgetstore (Action) I love it so much.

I made this card with the scripture from Word Art Wednesday.

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt met de bijbeltekst van Word Art Wednesday

I kept it simple, sponging the background with bleu and green, stamping the flowers with a darker green.

Ik heb hem bewust sumpel gehouden, de achtergrond gesponst met blauwe en groene inkt de bloemen gestempeld met een iets donkerdere groene inkt.

I choose the stamp with a flower field because it represent silence for me.

The whole day we are busy with, what am I going to do, how do I do it, what will people think of me, how am I going to pay the bills, the children must go to school, the laundry must be done, groceries, who lets the the dog out, the house is a mess, and so on. Everything around us runs and flies. And where will we find time to be still before God knowing that he has everything in His hand.

Ik heb deze stempel bewust gekozen omdat het voor mij rust betekend.

De hele dag zijn we bezig met dingen als, wat ga ik doen, hoe ga ik het doen, wat zullen mensen van mij denken, hoe ga ik die rekening betalen, de kinderen moeten naar school, de was moet gedaan worden, de boodschappen, de hond uitlaten, het huis is een rommel, en ga zo maar door. Alles om ons heen rent en vliegt. en waar vinden wij nog tijd om stil te zijn voor God, wetende dat Hij alles in Zijn hand heeft.

It reminds me of something Mother Teresa said,

Het doet me denken aan wat Moeder Teresa ooit zei,

God is the friend of silennce. Trees, flowers, grass grow in silence. See the stars, moon and sun how they move in silence. Mother Teresa

I think it is good to pul us back from al the rushing in our daily lives, sit down and think about who God is for us and what he does for us.

Ik denk dat het goed is om ons regelmatig terug te trekken van al het gehaast in onze maatschappij en stil te staan bij wie God is voor ons en wat Hij voor ons doet.

Just like the scripture Be still, and know that I am God.

Net als de tekst; Wees stil en weet dat Ik God ben.

Wow, life will be much easier with God on our side.

Kaartje gemaakt voor de uitdaging van Kleuren met Derwent. De uitdaging is om te kleuren op kraft. Wel dat is bij mij niet voor dovemansoren want dat vind ik superleuk om te doen. Het geeft zo'n mooi soft resultaat.

Het papier dat ik heb gebruikt komt bij de Action vandaan. Normaal loop ik niet echt warm voor de papierblokken van de Action maar ze hadden nu een paar blokken liggen die ik echt niet kon weerstaan en ach voor maar 1,29. Koop is een mooi vel scrappapier bij de Pipoos ofzo dan ben je het ook kwijt en nu heb ik heel veel.

Ik ben zeer tevreden met dit kaartje en dit Action papier kleurt zo giga mooi met kraft.

Im so happy with my new Bic markers and new Spectrum Noir markers that I want to colour with them al day, trying new technique's

So I dicided to make a card with a frosted window

And the sketch from Just us Girls.

I love the frosty look of these aqau flowers. And it was realy fun and easy to do.

I almost forgot to show you the inside.

Because I didn't want a sentiment on the front of my card I placed it on the inside.

Alcoholmarkers voor de kleine beurs

Ik ben natuurlijk superblij met mijn Bic Mark-it markers, maar ik begrijp dat niet iedereen het ziet zitten om deze dingen uit Amerika te laten komen.

Gelukkig vond ik vandaag alcoholmarkers van het merk Spectrum Noir. Je kunt ze kopen bij Harlekino en bij Luzifi Bij beide winkels kosten ze 7 euro voor een set van 6 markers en 27 euro voor een set van 24 kleuren.

Creat4fun heeft ze ook maar daar zijn ze 45 euro voor een set van 24.

Ik ga in ieder geval mijn Bic markers aanvullen met deze Spectrum Noir markers.

Met mijn nieuwe alcoholmarkers. Maandagochtend stond er een man van UPS met een pakketje voor mij aan mijn voordeur. YES mijn nieuwe alcoholmarkers.

As a little girl so happy ...with my new alcohol markers. Mondaymornig there was a man of UPS with a pacage for me at my front door. YES my new alcohol markers.

Via Amazon.com heb ik dan mijn Bic Mark-it markers besteld. Was nog een gedoe hoor eerst kon het alleen verzonden worden via priority post. $40 verzendkosten voor een artikel van $10. Vervolgens waren de stiften ineens $17,99 en konden ze wegens veiligheidsredenen niet naar Nederland verscheept worden.

Via Amazon.com I ordered my Bic Mark-it markers. Was still a hassle, first it could only be sent via priority mail. $ 40 shipping cost for an item of $ 10. The markers were then suddenly $ 17.99 and they couldn't to the Netherlands be shipped because of safety reasons.

Na wat heen en weer gemail met Amazon (wie niet waagt wie niet wint ;) ) heb ik mijn stiften gekregen voor 30 euro inclusief verzendkosten met priority verzending dus donderdag besteld en maandag geleverd.

After some back and forth mailing with Amazon, I have got my markers for 30 euros including shippingcost with priority shipping so Thursday ordered and delivered Monday, normaly it takes two weeks before delivery.

Ze worden geleverd in een handige bewaarbox. En ik ben blij, superblij.

They are delivered in a handy storage box. And I'm happy, superhappy.

Dus ben ik gelijk aan de slag gegaan met deze gratis digi van Dustin Pike.

So I direclty started with this free digi Dustin Pike.

En oke de Copic en de Flexmarker kleuren lekkerder omdat die punt flexibeler is maar die stiften kan ik me helaas niet permitteren dus ja deze stiften zijn echt een goed alternatief voor de kleine beurs.

And okay the Copic and Flexmarker colors nicer because there point is more flexible, but unfortunately I can not afford that markers so yes these markers are really a good alternative to colour on a budget

Op het challengeblog van Liftchallenge staat een hele mooie kaart van Ingrid Danvers om te liften.

Terwijl ik bezig was met het maken van rozetten voor in mijn Thankful Tree (zodra hij klaar is laat ik hem zien) kwam ik op het idee voor hoe ik de kaart van Ingrid wilde liften.

En dit is mijn kaart geworden. De vlinder en de tekst zijn gestempeld op velum, niet goed zichtbaar op de foto maar echt een finishing touch. Vind ik. Het geeft een zachte look zeg maar. Wat ik mooi vind passen bij het papier.

Ik heb gisteren deze kaart gemaakt voor een neefje van mij, nou ja neefje?! hij word alweer 16. Ik vind kaarten maken voor mannen al een uitdaging maar voor tieners?!

Al is deze goed gelukt moet ik zeggen. Ik heb gisteren dus maar even 4 flexmarkers gekocht, poe zeg wat een geld al zijn ze het geld wel waard maar toch. Ik heb onlangs een klein setje alcoholmarkers gekocht bij de Action voor maar, ja echt waar 1 euro en ik moet zeggen dat ze lang niet slecht zijn. Nu heb ik onlangs gezien dat Bic ook alcoholmarkers heeft en die zouden ook van goede kwaliteit zijn, wel een hardere punt dan de Flexmarkers en de Copics. Maar goed ik heb nu eenmaal geen geldboompje dus ga ik eerdaags Amazon.com bezoeken want zij verkopen die Bic Mark-it alcohol markers 36 stuks voor 17 dollar, die ook nog eens goed combineren met de Copics.

Bedankt voor je bezoekje. en ik hoop dat jullie iets hebben aan de tip van de Bic Mark-it alcoholmarkers.

Het is even rustig op mijn blog, heb even helemaal geen inspiratie. Normaal loop ik over van de inspiratie maar nu .............

Zal wel komen door alle drukte met de voorbereidingen voor sinterklaas (er moesten natuurlijk ook nog de nodige surprise's gemaakt worden en gedichten) en kerst.

Heb nog wel onderstaand kaartje gemaakt voor de leidinggevende van de tussen schoolse opvang waar ik twee dagen in de week overblijfmoeder ben.

Samen met dit schattige biggetje gevuld met biggen van Katja. Met de strik een echt feest varken.

Today I recived my happymail from Jacira. We both played along with the vintage postcard challenge and swap from City Crafter Challenge.

This is what i recived this morning.

One of the things we had to send to our swappartner was the postcard we made for the challenge.

Along with some "Thanksgiving" goodies.

Jacira send me some ribbon. In a nice stamped paperbag.

Patterned papers and some Brazillian poststamps. And also a little clearstamp.

Made this birthdaycard for my little brother. I know he became 33 monday and he is 2 meter. So I alway's have to look up to him but because I'm the oldest (just 1 year older) he still is my little brother.

I coloured with some very cheap alcohol markers 8 for 1 euro. Only the green is a copicmarker, the only one I have. I stamped my own background and coloured it on the dot upon the I in Birthday i placed a rinstone

The monsterstamp is a digi and came from Bugaboostamps.

Gisteren kwam de postbode zoals elke dag de post brengen. En daar zat een hele leuke verrassing tussen. Gestuurd door Irma van Allemaal Kleurtjes.

Een tijdje terug heb ik een art-journaling swap met haar gedaan en ze had zulke leuke sigarenbandjes gebruikt.

Dit mapje zat in de envelop

en in dat mapje een heleboel van deze supergave sigarenbandjes

Kijk is hoe mooi!

Ik heb samen met mijn vriendin en mijn zoontje van 7 zitten kijken en kwijlen ;) naar al dat moois. Mijn jongens lopen nu te "bedelen" of ze er alsjeblieft een paar mogen om er medailles van te maken. Er zaten ook een paar bandjes tussen met een soort van stadswapens enzo.

Irma dank je wel ik ben er heel erg blij mee enne mijn jongens ook.

Een tijdje terug had ik al verteld dat ik soort van journaling swap deed met Irama van Allemaal kleurtjes .

Toen kon ik mijn journaling nog niet helemaal laten zien. Wel nu wel want ik heb ondertussen de journaling van Irma ontvangen en zij die van mij.

Deze heb ik dus van Irma ontvangen. En kijk is naar die sigarenbandjes die zijn zoho mooi!.

En dit is de journalig die ik naar Irma heb gestuurd.

Als je goed kijkt dan zie je dat de bolletjes aan het strikje van het groene meisje zijn voorzien van fluweel. Oftewel ik heb de bolletjes eerst voorzien van een liquid pearle en die bestrooid met fluweelpoeder. (gekocht bij de Pipoos 6 potjes voor 5 en halve euro) En ze voelen echt zacht heel erg leuk.

I know mine is not a spectacular looking box.

But this is the outside, the magic is inside, when you lift the lid.............

There is an explosion of butterfly's fluttering out of the box.

Isn't it magic? Look at all those butterfly's.

It is not so good to see on the photo's but i used stickles on the wings. In the evening light the are realy magical.

This first card was made for the challenge from CAS-ual Fridays The want you to add some colour on your one layer cas-card. I've coloured with my Derwent coloursoft pencils.

This card is also for the challenge from Clean and Simple.

This two green cards are made a couple day's ago but i didnt had the time to post them earlyer. I realy love this way of making cards.

Cards like these are easy to make, fun, quick and the result is always great. And it is also a cheap way of card making. Unless you are like me, always wanted the newest stamps and inks.

The perfect cardmaking for they that don't have so much time. And for they that love to play with stamps, like me ;)

Van de week had ik besloten dat mijn telefoon toch echt wel een beschermhoesje nodig heeft. Ik gooi mijn telefoon altijd maar zo in mijn tas tussen de sleutels, portomenee en andere dingen die in een tas horen. Maar ja gezien die van mij een touchscreen heeft is dat niet zo goed voor mijn telefoon. Dus heb ik mijn naaimachine maar weer is stofvrij gemaakt.

Ik heb een lapje Tildastof gebruikt en de ruitjesvoering is een stofje van de Hema. Die hebben nu zulk leuk freubelmateriaal. o.a. dus van die leuke stofjes voor maar 1,95 en dan heb je 8 lapjes van A4 formaat.

Dan nog een roze kantje gebruikt en dat knoopje vond ik wel erg toepasselijk.

Tja ik heb dus al mijn vrienden in mijn telefoon staan.

Ik wens iedereen een goed week-end. Geniet lekker van het mooie weer, ik kruip achter de naamachine want dochterlief wil nu ook wel zo'n mooi beschermhoesje voor haar telefoon. Met rode roosjes. Wel ik ga ff rommelen in mijn lapjesmand.

I made this two cards this morning. They are for the challenge from Less is more, they want to see hearts.

First I thought that i diddnt had some heart stamps so for the firstcard I made my own stamps with foam. I also made my own glitter embossingpowder. It is not so good to see on the photo but I embossed the darkest heart with glitterembossingpowder.

Want to make your own glitter embossingpowder? Take a look over here for a tutorial.

Later I found this litlle stamp with little hearts so I dicided to make a little card with it.

It messure's 4 by 4 inch.

I coloured with my Derwent pencils. And embossed the little hearts with clear embossingpowder. The little dots are with stickles.

Nee niet op mijn blog, maar wel op die van Nicole. Ze heeft een bericht gehad van Letraset, je weet wel de makers van Promarkers, dat, als ze voor 2 november 3000 volgers heeft ze een te gek gave candy van maar liefst 52 flexmarkers en 2 vrijkaarten voor de Kreadoe van 2 t/m 5 nov in Utrecht mag weggeven. Gisteravond nog even 2 verjaardagskaartjes gemaakt. Ik heb het papier gebruikt van Eline's Flowers. Vrolijke kleurtjes, ideaal voor kaarten voor meisjes. Ik heb de kaart in 2 voud gemaakt. 2 jarige nichtjes dus 2 kaarten. Nee ze zijn geen tweeling. Nou ja een van de twee wel maar die heeft een tweeling broer.

Ik denk dat de dames de kaart wel kunnen waarderen.

Verder heb ik vanochtend heerlijk zitten knippen en plakken. Heerlijk om na een heleboel stempelkaarten weer is lekker te knippen en plakken. Even je denkwereld lekker leeg maken en met je verstand op nul iets moois creeëren.

Ik kan mijn creatie van vanochtend nog niet volledig laten zien, het is namenlijk mijn journaling voor Irma van allemaal kleurtjes ze heeft onlangs een oproep gedaan voor een soort van journalingswap op haar blog.

Maar omdat ik zelf erg blij ben met het eindresultaat van de journaling die ik heb gemaakt, laat ik een paar sneakpeekjes zien.

Allemaal een goed week-end en geniet nog ff lekker van het mooie weer.

Jaha ik ben er nog. Was even allemaal druk druk druk. Mijn oudste voor het eerst naar het VO, dus stapels boeken kaften, weer het schoolritme oppakken, ouderavonden, weer aan het werk, mijn workshopblog en de bijbehorende workshops uitwerken en het koste me dit keer erg veel energie moet ik zeggen. Daarnaast was mijn scrapmojo ook nog helemaal weg. Niet dat ik niets heb gedaan, maar veel was het niet. Vind ik.

In iedergeval heb ik deze schattige cupcakjes (van vilt) gemaakt. Een tweede setje heb ik weggeven als verjaardagskadootje.

Het vogeltje en het muisje kennen jullie al maar de familie heb ik uitgebreid met een kippie (geïnspireerd door mijn kookweker) en een biggie. De muis heeft ondertussen al kennis gemaakt met de katjes van de buren en is ietwat gehavend. Ach ja had ie maar geen muis moeten zijn.

Mijn workshopblog heb ik dus ook bijgewerkt http://creatiefmetpapier.blogspot.com/ En ja als je workshops aanbiedt dan moet je ze wel eerst zelf even hebben gedaan.

En o ja deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor mijn schoonbroer die morgen jarig is en daarnaast nog 2 babykaartjes en een verjaardagskaart voor een vriendin en voor mijn moeder. Maar helaas geen foto's.

En nu ga ik maar is aan de slag met mijn jounalingpagina. Ik ga journalingpagina's ruilen met Irma van Allemaal kleurtjes ik heb er heel veel zin in. Heb je zin om mee te doen meld je dan snel aan bij Irma.

Vogeltje van vilt mij vandaag inspireerde tot het maken van een muisje van vilt.

Wel ik was net bezig mijn keuken op te ruimen toen ik dit servetje zag,

Vlak daarvoor had ik dit lieve vogeltje van vilt gemaakt.

Terwijl ik het servet bekeek dacht ik hé, misschien kan ik met het patroon van dat vogeltje en grijs vilt een muisje maken, en dit is dan het resultaat.

In elk geval hebben ze het saam heel gezellig.

I've used some red, white and bleu ribbon. Too bad I didnt had a dutch tekststamp.

O, I coloured my cupcakes with my waterbrush and my Dew Drop inks. I love this technique.

I've stamped the image with Stazon Jet Black and coloured with Memento Dew drops and my waterbrush. This was really fun to do!

This is one of my favorite scriptures. Such a blessing knowing that God has a plan for us. A plan of hope.

This scripture give's me the strength to go on even when things are difficult to go through. I know wher my future is and thats what's giving me hope.

nothing will be impossible. Something I must keep reminding myself every day. Things that are impossible for people, or seems to be impossible, are possible for God! Sometime's I forgot. And than I have to remind myself again. With God it will be possible! Just like this turtle. Ever seen a turtle flying in the sky on a swing with balloons. Well I didn't, but I believe that God can make it happen. It will look funny, don't you think so?

I made this card for the challenge from Less is More. And of course for myself to help me to remind again and again that everything will be possible with God. So I'm going to place this card somewhere in my house where I can see it every day.

I made this card yesterday. It is inspired by the challenge from Christian Paper Craft and a card from Simone. I've used my acrylic block to make the cantalope coloured background. My husband like's the card and the result but I'm not so very happy with the result. It's not that bad but I think I have to practice a little bit more with this technique and I think it is better that i'm going to use disstress ink. For now I've used Dew Drop Memento cantalope. Maybe this ink is a little bit to dry for this technique. I had to ink up, mist the block lightly with water and press down my acrylic block several time's to get this result.

It is a little bit late, but still on time. Here is my card for Less is More. I had a busy week. So i even didn't have the time to leave comments to everyone's blog. But the cards i have seen were realy beautiful. I enjoy it looking al the cards that are playing along this challenge's. So when you are sad just visit the challenge blog from Less is More and you only have to look at al that beautiful cards and the smile will return on your face!!

The challenge is to use different shades of bleu. I've used an old stamp from Marianne Design and for a long time i didn't know what to do with it. So i saw someone using the stamp, stamping the flowers in different colours. Well i think it looks also great in this bleu way, but i think i am going to make more of this kind of cards using different colours.

I made this card for the challenge from Less is More. When i saw the sketch i knew directly how i wanted to make my card.

I've used my new sentiment stamps. I bought them at the online store from Clear Dollar stamps, and i am so happy with them!

For the card, first i embossed two lines and between this lines i placed 3 round masks and colourd a background with my inks. Then i stamped the flowers.

This card is for the challenge from Less is More. I really love it to enjoy this challenge. For me, this is since i found a free e-zine from Craft-Stamper a new way of making cards. And i really, really love this way of cardmaking. Ok maybe it is a simple way, but the results are so awesome.

I stamped the butterfly first and then i drawed the frame. The butterfly is coloured with my Derwents coloursoft pencils.

Gisterenavond nog even 2 geslaagd kaartjes gemaakt. Ze zijn voor twee kennisjes waarvan ik nog niet eens weet of ze wel geslaagd zijn voor hun examen. Ze zijn nog in afwachting van de uitslag. Spannend! Maar goed we gaan er gewoon vanuit dat ze geslaagd zijn. Tenslotte hebben ze keihard hun best gedaan.

Deze kaarten doen mee met de uitdaging van Lawnscaping hun uitdaging is Clean and Simple. Wel ik denk dat deze kaarten daar wel aan voldoen.

Deze kaarten doen ook mee met de allerlaatste uitdaging van Double Dutch. De uitdaging is; maak een "geslaagd" kaart. En omdat ik gewoon nog een laatste keer mee wil doen, via hun uitdagingen/blog ben ik in "blogland" terecht gekomen. Toen ik net begon met kaartjes scrappen ben ik via google op hun blog terecht gekomen en dat heeft zoveel inspiratie gebracht dat er ondertussen heel veel creatie's gemaakt zijn en zijn er ook heel veel technieken gepaseerd. Ook al heb ik het afgelopen jaar niet meer mee gedaan met hun uitdagingen toch heb ik ze wel steeds gevolgd om te zien welke fantastische creatie's de revu paseerden. Dames mijn complimenten voor wat jullie daar hebben neergezet met jullie Double Dutch Challenge blog. Ik zal de mooie kaarten missen.

Verder doen deze kaarten mee met de uitdaging van alles met en over kleuren met derwents. Deze keer was de uitdaging alles mag zolang je maar derwent gebruikt. En dat doe ik momenteel graag. Ik heb ontdekt dat het fotokarton van de boekhandel om de hoek perfect is om op te doezelen. Ik heb maar een ietsie pietsie derwent nodig. En het papier is lekker voordelig. 95 euro cent voor een vel van 50 bij 70 cm en afhankelijk van het formaat snijd ik hier 6 tot 8 basiskaarten uit en heb dan nog meer als genoeg voor zo'n 10 kaartjes op ATC formaat.

Bedankt dat je langs bent gekomen om mijn kaartjes te bewonderen. Ik hoop dat jullie ze ook leuk vinden.

I made this card for the challege from Less is More. The challenge is to make a card with moncromatic colours. I decided to use different shades of bleu. The bleu part of the card is sponged with 4 shades of bleu ink. I added the butterfly that is flying out of the bleu part with dimensionals. i embossed the outer edges from the bleu part. So this card will also play allong in with the challenges from the Shabby Tea Room. The ask you to make a card or project with embossing wet or dry.

Less is More challenge

I made this card for the challenge from Less is More. It was really a challenge for me. First i had to ask myself wich stamp will i use. (Usually i directly know what i want to use for my cards when i see a challenge) Than wich square am i going to use (the challenge is; pick a sqaure and leave the rest of the card clean). And because the rest card has to be white i was asking my self wich colours am i going to use for the little piggy. Usually i use the colours of the designpaper. Well i did it and this is my result.

I love this little piggy. He is so cute. Actually there is a little bear with a balloon at the stamp. But I cut him off because i like the stamp this way more. I coloured the little piggy with my Derwents coloursoft pencils.

Vandaag heb ik in opdracht van iemand een Dank je wel kaart gemaakt. En dit is hem geworden.

I am pleased with the result. Even as the person that asked me to make this card.

Ben zelf zeer tevreden met het resultaat. Degene voor wie ik hem gemaakt hebt ook.

Playing with my stamps en ink

Somewere on the internet i found a link to the free e-zine from Craft-Stamper So i was inspired to do more with my stamps and ink. And this is the result.

With this first card i join in with the Challenge from Stampin'Royalty. They want to see birds. Well there are a lot of birds on my card. And it also fitts in with te Colour Challenge from CR84FN. The want you to use Yellow, Red and Neutral. My red seems al bit orange because it is mixed with the yellow.

I like this way of stamping. It is so simple but so much fun and i realy love te result.

vogelhuisjes op stapel

Pasen is voorbij dus de paastakken mochten ook wel weg. Werden er ook niet mooier op nadat ze al zo lang in de kamer stonden. Ik had allemaal vogelhuisjes en vlinders in mijn paastakken gehangen/geplakt. En ja wat nu met die huisjes? Ik heb ze voor nu maar even gestapeld totdat ik een nieuw plekje voor ze gevonden heb. Natuurlijk is Stapelen op vrijdag mijn inspiratiebron geweest om ze te stapelen.

Ik heb ze in een vaasje moeten stapelen omdat ze anders omvielen. Maar dat geeft natuurlijk niet want het ziet er zo wel erg leuk uit, ik denk dat ik ze voorlopig ook maar even zo laat staan.

Het bovenste huisje (klik hier voor een patroontje wat erg lijkt op deze huisjes. je moet hier wel zelf een dakje en bodem bij ontwerpen tenzij je een stanapparaat met nestabillities hebt.) is gemaakt met papier van Papermania, Rose Garden. Het is een wat ouder papierblok en waarschijnlijk niet eens meer verkrijgbaar. Het paarse huisje is gemaakt met papier uit een blokje wat ik resent nog heb gekocht bij de Kruidvat.

De onderste twee huisjes zijn gemaakt met het Eline's babies papier van vorig jaar. Ik heb het blauwe en roze blok door elkaar gebruikt.

Binnenkort moet ik maar eens een workshop geven voor het maken van deze huisjes. Heb zo veel positieve reactie gekregen en ook regelmatig de vraag of ik een workshop wil geven. Ondertussen heb ik al wel een workshop op school en op de BSO gegeven die door de kinderen met superveel enthousiasme is ontvangen. Nu nog even over de drempel heen om dezelfde workshop aan een groep dames te geven.

Stapelen op vrijdag

Na een hele tijd gezellig meekijken, heb ik besloten om nu maar is gezellig mee te doen. En wel met Stapelen op vrijdag. Mijn eerste stapel post is een stapel notitieblokken van de Hema die ik heb bekleed met een hollands stofje. Ik stuur ze naar een paar vriendinnen in Engeland. Vandaar het hollandse motief en de rood wit blauwe lintjes.

Aan elk blok heb een schattig labeltje gemaakt.

Ik ben helemaal in mijn sas met het resultaat.

This card is inspired by the sketchchallenge over at CardPatterns and the colourchallenge over at CR84FN. The foto at CR84FN was also inspiring me because of the cameo. I realy love cameo's especially when the are pink or bleu. So that is why i made this pin creme coloured medallion. It looks like a cameo and i am very pleased with the result.

Deze kaart is geïnspireerd door de sketchchallenge van Cardpatterns en de colourchallenge van CR84FN. De camé op de foto van CR84FN heeft mij ook inspirerend. Ik vind camé echt heel erg mooi vooral als ze roze of blauw zijn. Dus vandaar dat ik deze roze, creme kleurig "medallion" heb gemaakt. Het lijkt wel op een camé en ik ben erg blij met het resultaat.

Update workshops

Nu is van het een toch het ander gekomen. Zoals eerder geschreven zou ik in de klas van mijn dochter een workshop vogelhuisjes maken geven. Dit was een groot succes, eerst hebben we de huisjes op plain papier gemaakt. De week erna (was dus afgelopen week) zou ik terug komen met designpapier, de meiden konden niet wachten en zelfs de jongens waren enthousiast. Helaas heb ik geen foto kunnen maken van het eindresultaat, maar geloof me ze waren prachtig. Ik heb dan ook niet voor niets nu drie keer het verzoek gekregen om een workshop te komen geven. Volgende week dus op de BSO aangesloten bij de school van mijn kinderen. Voor de andere twee moet nog een datum afgesproken worden.

Ik heb er zin in hoor.

Eerst wil ik even mijn kaartje voor de uitdaging van Challenges for You met jullie delen.

First i want to show you my card for the challenges over at Challeges for You.

Gisteren heb ik mezelf verwend met een aantal takken kersenbloesem en was verrast toen ik vanochtend zag dat een aantal knopjes al helemaal open zijn.

Yesterday I bought a pair of cherry blossom branches, this morning i was suprised to see that a few flowers were allready blooming.

Ik vind deze tere bloementjes zo mooi dat ik ze gewoon met jullie wil delen. Ik kan gewoon zo blij worden van zulk moois.

I love this delicate beautiful little flowers so, that I just want to share them with you. They make me so happy.

Workshop

Yes, ik mag een workshop geven. Ik droom er al een tijdje van om workshops te geven, maar weet niet zo goed hoe dit handen en voeten te geven. En nu heeft de juf van mijn dochter gevraagd of ik een workshop wil geven aan de hele klas. Wie weet komt van het een wel het ander.

Deze vogelhuisjes maak ik regelmatig. Leuk om te doen en helemaal niet zo moeilijk. Soms neemt mijn dochter haar vriendinnen mee naar huis omdat zij ook zo graag zo'n huisje willen. Haar vriendinnen komen hier met name om creatief te zijn. Is het niet om te knutselen dan wel om cupcakes te bakken en te versieren. Haha, 4 van die giebelende pré pubers in mijn kleine keuken. De patentbloem vliegt je om de oren.

Deze heeft mijn dochter met mijn hulp gemaakt voor haar juf. En dit was dan ook de inspiratiebron voor juf om mij te vragen voor een workshop.

Ze hebben op school een projectweek en die gaat over dieren, de klas van mijn dochter heeft vogels als thema en ja wat past er nu goed bij vogels. Precies......vogelhuisjes.

Nou ik voel me vereerd en heb er reuze veel zin, de vriendinnen van mijn dochter ook, die zijn nu al dolenthousiast. Leuk!

Gisteravond nog deze kaart gemaakt. Hij doet mee aan de uitdaging van Challenges for You Ik liep al een paar dagen met het idee rond maar had nog geen tijd gevonden om hem uit te werken.

Yesterday i made this card for the challenge from Challenges for You.

Ben benieuwd naar wat jullie er van vinden. De bloemen die ik gebruikt heb zijn een van de eerste bloemen die ik ooit heb gekocht om mee te scrappen. Ze lagen dus al een hele tijd in de kast. Ik vind ze wel leuk op deze kaart. Ben niet helemaal tevreden over de roosjes in het midden van de bloemen, maar ik had geen grote brads en knoopjes vond ik niet zo passen.

Hope you like it. The flowers i used are one of my first things i buyed when i started with scrapping cards. I think they look nice on this card. I am not realy satisfied about the roses in the center but i didn't haven that big brads and i did'nt like buttons in the flowers.

Ik wilde jullie deze foto's nog even laten zien. Ben een beetje aan het experimenteren met mijn camera. Het is een oudje, maar maakt toch nog mooie foto's. Omdat hij maar weinig megapixels (5.1) heeft kan ik mijn foto's helaas niet laten uitvergroten tot posterformaat das jammer. Maar ach een mens kan niet alles hebben he?

De witte druifjes heb ik van mijn vader gekregen. Bedankt paps! Ik ben er helemaal mee in mij sas. Ik heb ze in zinken bakjes gedaan met mos en een parelsnoer.

Hier staan ze samen met irissen. Die zijn ook zoho mooi.

En deze mooie witte roosjes daar ben ik best is trots op. Ze staan nu een weekje op de vaas en zijn heel mooi tot bloei gekomen. Normaal redden roosjes het bij mij niet zo ver hoor. Als ze 2 dagen stonden was ik al blij. Maar gelukkig heeft de bloemenverkoper verteld en laten zien hoe ik roosjes moet snijden en waarrempel dit is al mijn derde bos die zeker een week staat. En de eerste die zover tot bloei komt dat je de stampers kunt zien.

Fijn weekend en geniet van al die mooie lentebloeiers die nu overal tot bloei komen.

Been a while away

Heb even een drukke tijd gehad. Daardoor heb ik geen tijd gehad om kaartjes te maken. Wel heb ik samen met mijn dochter cupcakes gemaakt.

Maar liefst 48 stuks. Het was voor haar verjaardag en omdat ze in groep acht zit en dus voor het laatst trakteert op school, wilde ze iets speciaals doen.

Ze zijn super goed gelukt. Ze heeft echt de show gestolen op school. En lekker dat ze waren!!

Vooral de creme. Het lijkt op slagroom maar dat is het niet. Mijn zoon vond het naar ijs smaken.

Hier het recept van de creme voor 24 cakejes;

175 g ongezouten boter. (ik heb roomboter gebruikt)

300 gram poedersuiker

100 gram witte chocolade

paar druppels vanille eccense

Doe de boter in de kom en mix dit met de mixer voor ongeveer een minuut. Voeg de poedersuiker en de eccense toe. Mix dit op de hoogste stand tot je een romig geheel hebt.

Smelt de chocolade au bain marie of in de magnetron en laat het afkoelen. Voeg dit dan toe aan de boter en mix nog even tot je een mooie romige creme hebt.

Nu kun je het met een spuitzak op je cakejes spuiten. Binnen drie dagen opeten, maar dat zal wel lukken zoho lekker is het.

De cakejes zijn volgens standaard recept gemaakt.

Last night i decided after along time not using, to use my sewing machine, together with some white fabric and my stamps. And this came out.

Ik heb gisteravond, na lang geen gebruik gemaakt te hebben van mijn naaimachine besloten hem maar weer is tevoorschijn te halen samen met een stuk witte stof en mijn stempels, en dit is het resultaat.

They smell of jasmine

Ze ruiken heerlijk naar jasmijn.

Unfortunately in some places the ink through the aromatic oil fell.
Does anyone know how I can prevent this?

Helaas is op sommige plekjes de inkt door de aromatische olie doorgelopen.

Weet iemand hoe ik dit kan voorkomen?

They are hanging in the bedroom. And now spread a lovely spring fragrance.

Ze hangen nu in de slaapkamer. En verspreiden nu een heerlijke lente geur.

Kaartje gemaakt voor de challenges van Stampin' Sisters in Christ (vintagelook) Case study (cardinspiration) en Crazy4challenges. (ook vintagelook)

The papers are from graphic 45 and comes from the serie Romantic. I found the roses to white, so i coloured them with my stamping ink and a sponge.

Het papier is van Graphic 45 en komt uit de serie Romantic. De rozen vond ik te wit en heb ze daarom met stempelinkt een kleurtje gegeven zodat ze beter passen.

This card I made this morning for the mother of a classmate of my youngest. She gave birth this weekend to their fourth child a boy. The card is inspired by the challenge of Case Study.

Deze kaart heb ik vanochtend gemaakt voor de moeder van een klasgenoot van mijn jongste. Ze is dit weekend bevallen van hun vierde kindje een jongentje. De kaart is geinspireerd op de challenge van Case Study.

I used the papers from Prima Marketing, So Sweet. And yes indeed the papers are realy So Sweet.

Ik heb het papier van Prima Marketing, So Sweet gebruikt. En ja dat is inderdaad So Sweet. Mijn puberdochter riep gelijk; "o wat poepig!" Ze vind op dit moment alles poepig maar vooral baby's.

Tutorial giftbag

As promised, here is finally the tutorial from my felt gift bag. With thanks to my daughter she made her gift bag available as an example.

Zoals beloofd is hier dan eindelijk de tutorial van mijn vilten kadozakje. Met dank aan mijn dochter die haar exemplaar beschikbaar heeft gesteld als voorbeeld.

You need: A piece of felt, 30 cm long and 10 cm wide. 2 pieces of felt 11 cm long and 4.5 cm wide. A button, and of course needle and thread.

Je hebt nodig: Een stukje vilt van 30 cm lang en 10 cm breed. 2 stukjes vilt van 11 cm lang en 4,5 cm breed. Een knoop, en natuurlijk naald en draad.

Put the small pieces of felt on the big piece like the picture above.

Start sewing on the spot in the picture above. This can just like my daughter did with the blanket stitch, or do like I did earlier with the machine.

Leg de kleine stukjes vilt op het grote stuk zoals de foto hierboven.

Begin met naaien op de plek die op de foto is aangegeven. Dit kun je zoals mijn dochter heeft gedaan met de festonsteek doen of zoals ik eerder heb gedaan met de naaimachine.

When you reach the corner you turn the big piece of felt so that youre little piece located right on the edge. As in the picture.

Wanneer je bij de hoek bent draai je het grote stuk vilt zo dat je het kleine stukje recht op de rand hebt. Zoals op de foto.

If you have sewn it all together and you can finish the bag with the button. Do not forget to make the buttonhole. You can finish this, but leave it there. Felt does not crack through.

Als je alles aan elkaar hebt genaaid dan kun je het zakje afwerken met de knoop. Vergeet niet het knoopsgat te maken. Deze kun je afwerken, maar ook zo laten. Vilt scheurt niet door.

Now you can the gift bag decorate with embellisment.

Nu kun je het kadozakje naar wens versieren met embellisment.

I made this "New Home" card for some one that has recently moved to an other house. It was inspired by the sketch from CPS-Card Sketches. At the back of the little birdhouse i placed a magnet.

I made some Christmas decoration with the children from my Sundayschool.

Felt giftbag

Een tijdje geleden zag ik ergens tijdens het surfen op internet hele leuke kleine kadozakjes van vilt. Dat kan ik ook dacht ik en voïla hier is het reslutaat. Het vilten hartje op het zakje komt bij de Zeeman vandaan. Het is eigenlijk kerstversiering. De harten (ja het zijn er maar liefst 9) zitten met van die boterhamzakjesijzertjes aan een "ketting". En dat voor maar 0,99 cent.

Met dit kadozakje doe ik gelijk mee met de challenge van The Shabby Tearoom Zij willen graag vilt op je kaart zien en of een project gemaakt van vilt.

Later zal ik nog een beschrijving op mijn blog zetten zodat jullie dit tasje ook kunnen maken.

This card is made for the challenge from alles met en over kleuren met Derwent Christmas in red. I kept the card quit simple. I coloured with my Derwent colourpencils. For the snow i used stickles. And the bells are colourd with a "golden" marker.

Wow, look at this "tree". I saw him a few day's ago at the Blokker. And i was sold. So i had to buy him.

And yes, of course, something must be hung in. So i made this little mittens. Are they not cute?

I also made this little heart. Im not very pleased with the "label" it's a litte bit to big. Well for the next time i know i have to made it a little smaller.

And this bird. I love it, even though he is not finished yet. I want to give him wings and maybe something around his neck.

And when it's christmas? I will hang in there balls.
